Do not use SGNL to
- Broadcast or store material you do not have the legal right to use.
- Distribute unlawful, exploitative, threatening or deliberately harmful content.
- Impersonate another person or station, mislead listeners about affiliation, or interfere with emergency communications.
- Probe, bypass or defeat authentication, capacity controls, signed delivery, rate limits or tenant boundaries.
- Send malware, operate botnets, mine cryptocurrency, generate abusive traffic or disrupt SGNL or another service.
- Share private stream tokens, operator credentials or automation tokens outside their intended audience.
Broadcast responsibility
Operators are responsible for local broadcasting, music, advertising, competition, privacy, defamation and accessibility rules. SGNL is a technical platform and does not supply content clearances or broadcast licences.
Fair capacity
Do not generate synthetic listener traffic except through an SGNL-approved test. Planned events that may approach plan capacity should be raised with support so delivery can be checked in advance.
Enforcement
SGNL may remove content, revoke tokens, limit delivery or suspend a workspace where necessary to protect listeners, rights holders, the platform or the public. Urgent security or legal risks may be acted on without advance notice.
