Test-billing terms · 20 July 2026. Starter and Growth currently use Stripe test mode. Test checkout does not take real money or create a paid subscription. Test workspaces may be reset before public billing begins.
The service
SGNL Desk provides software for managing online radio stations, programming, team access, live-source handovers, listener pages, stream delivery and related operational tools. Features may change during private beta.
Live subscription preview
Starter is displayed at US$10 per month and Growth at US$20 per month. Network is arranged directly. When live billing is enabled, monthly plans will renew automatically until cancelled. Checkout will show the seller, billing currency, taxes and total before payment; Stripe will issue the payment record. Live charges remain disabled until the SGNL merchant profile and final governing terms are published.
Your account and workspace
You must provide accurate information, protect authentication methods, use individual accounts rather than shared credentials and promptly remove access for people who no longer need it. Each workspace has one primary owner responsible for billing and permanent closure. Primary ownership can be transferred to another active member. A Stripe billing contact does not change the verified WorkOS identity used to sign in.
Your content and licences
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant SGNL the limited rights needed to store, process, reproduce and transmit it to operate the service. You are responsible for every music, recording, performance, privacy and territorial right required for your broadcasts.
Plan limits
Workspaces must stay within their station, storage, team, listener-hour and delivery allowances. HLS concurrency is pooled across a workspace. Direct MP3/AAC compatibility delivery is capacity-managed separately. SGNL may restrict new sessions or require a capacity review rather than deliberately disconnecting an existing audience solely because a threshold is crossed.
Changing plans
Starter-to-Growth upgrades take effect only after Stripe confirms the prorated payment. Growth-to-Starter changes take effect at the next renewal and can be scheduled only when the workspace fits Starter limits. SGNL does not delete existing content merely because a downgrade is requested; new additions may be restricted while the lower plan is pending.
Billing recovery and suspension
If a renewal fails, Stripe may retry the payment and SGNL may keep access available during that recovery period. Access may be paused when Stripe marks a subscription unpaid or cancelled. Security threats, unlawful use, material abuse or serious breaches may also lead to restriction or suspension.
Cancellation
A workspace owner can manage a Stripe-backed subscription through the secure billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. The station then stops broadcasting and the workspace remains recoverable and exportable for 30 days before primary operational data is purged. See the Cancellation and refunds policy.
Permanent closure
The primary owner may request immediate permanent closure only after downloading a current workspace export and completing a fresh security check. SGNL cancels the subscription and begins irreversible deletion; this is separate from ordinary end-of-period cancellation and its 30-day recovery window.
Availability and beta risk
SGNL is engineered for continuous broadcast operation, but private beta is supplied without a service-level agreement. Maintenance, faults, third-party networks and internet conditions can interrupt operation. Keep source media and credentials needed for your own continuity plan.
