Test-billing policy · 20 July 2026. SGNL Checkout currently runs in Stripe test mode, so no real payment is collected and no refund can arise from a test transaction.
Manage a subscription
For Stripe-backed workspaces, an owner can open Manage billing inside SGNL to update the payment method, view invoices and control renewal. Other team roles cannot change the subscription.
Cancellation timing
The intended live policy is to stop renewal at the end of the current paid billing period. The workspace remains available until that period ends unless it is suspended for security, unlawful use, material abuse or another serious breach. Stripe confirms the effective cancellation date in the billing portal.
Failed payments
Stripe may retry an unsuccessful renewal. SGNL can keep a workspace available during this recovery period and will send a billing notice. If the subscription becomes unpaid or is cancelled, workspace access may be paused while the data remains associated with the account.
Refunds
Monthly fees are generally not refunded for a partially used billing period or a cancellation made after renewal. SGNL will correct duplicate or erroneous charges and will provide any refund or remedy required by applicable Australian consumer law. Contact support promptly if a charge looks wrong.
Your station data
Cancellation does not immediately delete the station. When the paid period ends, broadcasting pauses and the workspace becomes read-only for a 30-day recovery window. Owners can export the workspace or resubscribe during that period. SGNL sends deletion reminders and purges primary media and operational station data after day 30.
Immediate permanent closure
The primary owner can choose permanent closure instead of the recovery window only after downloading a current export and completing a fresh security check. This cancels billing and starts irreversible deletion immediately; it cannot be used by another owner, manager or member.
Workspace exports
Owners can request a portable export containing station configuration, media metadata, playlists, schedules, reporting and privacy-safe analytics, plus secure links to original uploaded media. Export links expire after 24 hours. Passwords, stream credentials, MCP tokens and payment-card data are excluded.
Backups and required records
Deleted customer media can remain in encrypted disaster-recovery snapshots for no more than 90 days before ageing out. Listener-session detail follows a 180-day window; licensing/playout records follow the operator's selected one-to-seven-year period. Limited billing, fraud-prevention and security evidence may be retained where legally required.
Network arrangements
Network workspaces may use tailored commercial terms. Where a signed agreement differs from this page, that agreement controls.
