AI-NATIVE / HUMAN CONTROLLED

Structured tools for agents. Final control for operators.

SGNL gives browser agents and remote assistants explicit, permission-aware ways to help run a station without turning consequential actions into silent automation.

01

WebMCP helps an agent use the page in front of you.

On supported browsers, the SGNL landing page declares tools for comparing plans, recommending a plan, explaining external live broadcasting, checking migration fit and opening a preselected trial flow. These functions run visibly in the current browser page.

The public tools disclose only published product information. The trial tool navigates to SGNL’s normal account and checkout preparation page; it does not confirm a purchase, create a subscription or charge a card.

02

Server MCP is the durable remote interface.

The authenticated MCP endpoint at https://mcp.sgnldesk.co/mcp is designed for compatible assistants that need to work without keeping the marketing site open. Workspace MCP tokens are created inside the authenticated Desk and remain bound to the organisation and stations the owner authorises.

Server-side permissions remain authoritative. A browser tool cannot widen a user’s role, cross a workspace boundary or replace the authenticated API checks.

03

Preparation is different from publication.

Agents can inspect station state, find media, explain issues and prepare playlists or schedules. Publishing a schedule, changing billing, deleting media, switching a live source and other consequential actions require the appropriate authenticated role and an explicit operator-controlled step.

This is what “AI-native, human controlled” means in practice: structured assistance, visible state changes, narrow permissions and an audit trail shared with the normal SGNL workflow.

04

Discovery and operation are separate layers.

Search metadata and structured data help search engines understand SGNL. llms.txt gives visiting agents a concise product map. WebMCP improves browser operation after an agent arrives. Server MCP provides authenticated remote operation. None of these layers replaces the others.

WebMCP is currently an experimental browser standard and is deployed as a progressive enhancement. Visitors using browsers without the API receive the same human-first site and checkout flow.
